Currently replaying WaW after many years later and growing up into a “somewhat more” mature person. Basically all sledgehammer games have always been the worst cod has to offer for me. So many good memories with friends and seeing what they are now is heartbreaking. Zombies is my favorite game and what got me into gaming after I completed the WaW campaign and stumbled onto Nazi Zombies for the first time more than a decade ago. We would have been worshipping them for the entire time while they develop the next Treyarch COD. Treyarch should have done a year 2 of Cold War and release Zombie Chronicles 2. I believe Activision is the ones conning us in this situation to be honest. We for sure arent getting Chronicles 2 for Cold War". I remember hearing Treyarch was taking over zombies for Sledgehammer after Cold War released and I said at the time, "that just means Cold War is going to get less attention and Vangaurd zombies is going to be bad. I think Sledgehammer was smart and realized they couldn't make a good zombies mode in a years time. Sledgehammer has been working on the rest of the game for (I heard) 3-4 years.
I don't think it is Treyarch conning us, I just think they were incredibly moronic accepting the task of making zombies for Vangaurd zombies for Sledgehammer.
